Who sang the song Bubbly in 2007

Colbie Caillat forms country band Gone West

Colbie Caillat started in 2007 with the worldwide hit single Bubbly a great international career. Now she is starting again with the country and folk-pop band Gone West.

Gone West stand for a new, modern country sound that really sets the mood. No wonder, lead singer Colbie Caillat is a successful and unique musician who has delivered several international top 10 albums over the course of her career. The highlights of her musical work so far also include hits Jason Mraz, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift as well as a Grammy Award.

Three musician colleagues complete the formation Gone West, around the 33-year-old Californian. For one, there is the multi-platinum singer-songwriter Jason Reeves, as Nelly Joy and Justin Kawika Young. The latter is a notable four-time Hawaii Music Award winner.

Their latest and first EP Tides Has Gone West recently released. And the music on it - especially its virtuoso, four-part singing is literally addicting.

A real highlight from the EP is the title song, very fitting and simple Gone West titled.

"This song and our name explain where the band came from," explains Justin Young. “We're all home west of Tennessee, and if we're not in Nashville then we're probably headed west - back to Iowa, Texas, California, or Hawaii. Each line is about returning to our respective hometowns to bring our partner to Nashville. The text is autobiographical and at the same time the title song of the band. "
