What are the best business schools

FAQ: The best MBA courses and universities in Germany?

“I want to do an MBA, but I'm not sure where. There is a study program at a very small university that appeals to me very thematically. But this university does not appear in any ranking. Is there an overview of where I can find the best university for an MBA course? Or asked differently? What are the best courses and can you even say that? "

The best MBAs can be found in Germany at Mannheim Business School, HHL Leipzig, WHU and ESMT Berlin. But you shouldn't blindly rely on the rankings.

Good ranking = good for me?

It doesn't just depend on the name of the university. Okay, if you want to have a career right up to top management or even as chairman of the board, you should have the title of a well-known business school. Not only quality is associated with this, but also belonging to an elite group. The MBA from the FH Buxtehude cannot keep up with that.

But if you are one of the overwhelming majority of MBA prospects who want to do an MBA for their careers but not at any cost - or simply to do something for the gray matter - there are hundreds of study options. For some areas it is not so important to have a well-known MBA title from the best universityIt is important that the MBA enables you to continue to be one of the best employees.

The selection based on the MBA ranking is not so important if you want to pursue a career in a German company (small, medium-sized, large, but rarely an international corporation), but not necessarily with all your might up to the top positions. Then a “normal” German MBA may be suitable. Depending on the career ladder level and ambition at a well-known business school, or a specialized MBA at a smaller university. Both can be very beneficial for a career in this environment - Above all, it is important that the MBA is individually tailored to you and your profession or professional goal.
